The costs associated with parent visas in Australia can vary depending on the specific visa subclass and whether you apply for a temporary or permanent visa. Here are some common parent visa subclasses and their associated costs as of my last update:

  1. Contributory Parent (Permanent) visa (subclass 143):
    • Base application charge: AUD 4,155 per applicant
    • Additional applicant charge (18 years and older): AUD 2,075 per applicant
    • Additional applicant charge (under 18 years): AUD 1,040 per applicant
  2. Contributory Aged Parent (Permanent) visa (subclass 864):
    • Base application charge: AUD 4,155 per applicant
    • Additional applicant charge (18 years and older): AUD 2,075 per applicant
    • Additional applicant charge (under 18 years): AUD 1,040 per applicant
  3. Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 173):
    • Base application charge: AUD 4,155 per applicant

  4. Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 884):

  6. Aged Parent visa (subclass 804):
